After launching over 100 Balance Catamarans since 2012, we turned our attention to creating this proof-of-concept flagship, building upon our longstanding philosophy: uncompromising performance, cutting-edge carbon hybrid epoxy design and construction, and unrivaled luxury — all delivered for speed at sea.
THE 750 CX — CARBON CROSS
The 750 CX (Carbon Cross) comes standard with an aluminum mast, boom, fore beam, and crossbeam, electric winch sail management, and performance laminated sails, together with a hand-crafted real wood veneer interior. She is a hybrid E-glass and carbon composite structure with epoxy resin that strategically incorporates carbon fiber in her high-load areas to lighten and stiffen her structure.
THE 750 ULTRA VELO — CARBON CORE
The 750 Ultra Velo offers a full Carbon Substructure to further lighten and stiffen her, generating even higher performance than the CX model. She is faster yet because her entire rig, sails, and operating systems are the cutting edge of performance catamaran technology: fully hydraulic sail management, carbon rigging, daggerboards, spars & beams, and a full set of North 3Di sails.

Both the Balance 750 CX and 750 Ultra Velo introduce a new level of onboard living to performance luxury sailing, with expansive indoor-outdoor flow, forward cockpit lounging, and a fly-style coach-roof lounge that creates multiple social and relaxation zones both underway and at anchor.

The Balance 750’s below-deck interior is fully customizable to the owner’s specifications — available in three- or four-cabin layouts for private ownership, or four- to six-cabin configurations with private en-suites for luxury crewed charter. Thoughtfully designed work, living, and service areas complement the elegant accommodations, while generous tankage, energy capacity, and storage deliver true global cruising range.
Take the Helms
The Balance 750 features three distinct helm locations, together with a forward cockpit. She sports a fixed carbon helm on her port side, as well as a carbon VersaHelm™ to starboard that can pivot down 90 degrees into the aft cockpit for sailing in full protection during inclement weather. Each piloting position offers exceptional visibility, redundancy, and control, whether sailing offshore or maneuvering in close quarters. The 750 offers the most expansive sightlines in the catamaran world today.

Performance
The Balance 750 is our proof-of-concept flagship built to push the boundaries of what a luxury catamaran can do under sail. Both models share a 100% foam-core epoxy build, with full carbon and carbon/E-glass blended laminates concentrated in her high-load areas for a lighter, stiffer platform; the Ultra Velo goes further still with a full carbon substructure — her Carbon Core — for even greater rigidity and reduced displacement. Triple headsails and centralized sail-handling systems put commanding power at your fingertips, whether through the CX’s electric winch package or the Ultra Velo’s fully hydraulic sail management, carbon rig and rigging, and North 3Di sail wardrobe. Carbon daggerboards, a long waterline, and a refined underbody sharpen her upwind angles and quiet her passage through the water, while her powerful sail plan and generous underwing clearance keep her fast and composed across a wide range of conditions. Three distinct piloting positions — including a protected VersaHelm™ that pivots down for full weather cover — mean the 750 never asks you to trade control for comfort, or speed for the feeling of being fully free at sea.
* Polars are known as Velocity Performance Predictions (VPP’s). Balance polars are calculated using advanced computer modeling from the Wolfson Unit at the University of Southampton. The polars shown here were produced to reflect the performance of a fully equipped 750 at a 35-ton weight. The weight range for this model, fully equipped, will be 33-36 tons for luxury expeditionary voyaging. We do not run polars at lightship displacements because they are a poor predictor of catamaran performance in real-world conditions. Our polars assume a flat sea state, properly trimmed sails, and a clean bottom. Polars of any kind, however, do not guarantee specific performance. Vessel performance in real-world conditions varies with sea state, hull condition, payloads, and the helmsman’s skill. Construction
The 750 CX is crafted with foam core-cell hulls and decks in 100% epoxy resins. She is structurally stiffened with carbon reinforcement across her primary mast beam/bulkhead, her primary aft beam/bulkhead, her daggerboards, and her wet deck under the mast. Her secondary bulkheads, partition panels, cabin soles, and saloon floor are in E-glass with VE resin.
The entire interior core structure of the 750 Ultra Velo is crafted in carbon fiber – her cabin soles, partition panels, primary beams, bulkheads, saloon floor and tray, daggerboards and trunks, as well as her rudders are full carbon construction. We wrap her carbon substructure with vacuum-bagged closed-cell foam cores and e-glass in 100% epoxy resin, producing an even lighter, stiffer, quieter, and more sea-kindly performance catamaran when sailing at high speeds. The carbon core weighs approximately 1000 kg (2,200 pounds) less than our CX models, producing a measurable boost in performance and added payload capacity.

The weight of each yacht we build varies based on her interior fit-out, materials chosen, hardware and added equipment. All our catamarans are designed for best-in-class weight and sailing performance, without compromising strength or quality.
Underwing clearance will vary based on the final fit out of the yacht together with what is stored on her, the amount of fuel and water she carries, and the number of passengers onboard.
