A day in the life at sea
A typical day on an Outer Passage voyage reads like the sailing life you’ve always imagined. Wake up to a generous breakfast, then gather for a focused 30–60 minute educational session — systems, weather routing, offshore safety, whatever the group needs most. By 10am, the anchor is up and you’re sailing.
The hours between departure and a 3pm anchorage are entirely hands-on. You’re at the helm. You’re setting headsails, flying spinnakers, reefing, furling and unfurling code sails. Nothing is done for you while you watch — it’s done with you, until you own it.
Come evening, the hook goes down in some quiet cove, dinner is cooked on board, and the conversation flows. Maybe there’s a hike ashore, a swim in the last of the daylight. Then rest, and do it all again tomorrow — a little more capable than the day before.
Going where other charter boats won't
